Maxquip 2” Ball Valve with Integrated Bleed Port

Ball valves are a key product used to control all kinds of systems – it’s no wonder we sell thousands of them every year. Most OEM ball valves, however, lack a bleed port. The operator then has to add the extra piece into the plumbing system, increasing their material and labour costs and needlessly wasting time.

Maxquip’s convenient 2” ball valve with integrated bleed port removes that extra step. That saves you up to $100 in materials and labour costs.

This high-quality, stainless steel ball valve is manufactured to our specifications by a reputable manufacturer and is UL-approved. It’s suitable for liquid or vapour service and is frequently used for storage and transport systems and in bulk plants. It’s been a big hit with our customers since we brought it out in late 2009.

Now you can focus on bleeding your system – instead of bleeding time and money. Another great example of Maxquip providing innovative solutions.

Maxflow VRC

Today’s ever-larger farms across North America depend crucially on high-capacity, high-powered, reliable and fast equipment. Whether you’re a farm owner cultivating your own vast acreage, or a custom service provider roaming across whole provinces and states, you need speed to compete and flourish. You can’t let one component slow down your whole operation.

That’s where the Maxflow Variable Rate Control (VRC) NH3 application system comes in – Maxquip recognized that many agricultural producers were finding that standard ammonia fertilizer applicators were hampered by insufficient capacity in their control systems. Even worse, the openers tended to freeze during colder and/or damp conditions. Result: expensive tractors and application units were operating well below capacity due to design limitations in just one component – the control system.

Maxquip created the solution: Maxflow VRC – Maxflow VRC is a high-pressure, high-rate ammonia fertilizer pumping system that provides up to 30% higher application speed than standard systems. Plus it eliminates opener freezing. There’s nothing else like it in the industry!

High capacity and ultimate control – The Maxflow VRC delivers capacity of up to 40 gpm. That enables you to apply over 5 tons of NH3 per hour. The system’s application rate automatically varies along with your ground speed. It can also be custom-adjusted by the operator or by a computerized task controller linked to a prescription map and GPS. Maxflow VRC achieves improved distribution accuracy by using smaller distribution hoses that raises manifold pressure up to 250 psi working pressure. You can also add boom section control through optional electric manifold valves, controlled manually or integrated into a GPS system.

Features and benefits of Maxflow VRC:

  • Increased range of application rates, and overall higher rates than traditional manual and auto-rate control system;
  • Hydraulically powered, positive displacement vane pump eliminates need for cooler;
  • NH3 is kept in a liquid state using a special regulating valve;
  • Increased manifold pressure and accuracy;
  • Integrates with variable rate technology;
  • Available with boom section control; and
  • Compatible with most rate controllers.

It’s no surprise that Maxflow VRC has been a big hit with agricultural producers across North America. On the market since fall 2007, the Maxflow VRC is fully tested and field-proven.

DieselFlex

Better-faster-cheaper. It’s the driving imperative for nearly every business across North America. And nowhere more so than in industries that use heavy, diesel-powered machinery. Wouldn’t it be amazing to find something that cut your fuel consumption, boosted your diesel engine’s power and saved you cash?

You can find it right at Maxquip: DieselFlex – DieselFlex is the Maxquip-designed and assembled system for injecting compressed natural gas (CNG) or propane into diesel engines. Commercial field tests prove that DieselFlex can increase power by as much as 30%, and reduce Diesel consumption up to 37%, delivering net fuel cost savings of approximately 25%. No wonder DieselFlex is already in service with major fleet operators.

Maxquip’s people thought of everything – DieselFlex is thoroughly designed, ruggedly built and packed with electronic features that let the technicians analyze results and fine-tune engine performance. Best of all, commercial field tests prove that in a typical commercial application of 32,000 km (20,000 miles) driving per year, cost-recovery of the entire system – materials and labour – can be achieved in as little as 10 months!

The secret of DieselFlex – Conventional diesel engines do not fully combust the injected fuel, resulting in wastage of as much as 25%. Injecting CNG or propane into the engine’s inlet air stream creates a blend of diesel and CNG or propane, promoting faster and therefore much more complete combustion. This process helps blended Diesel burn more efficiently resulting in more power, lower particulate emissions and substancial fuel-cost savings.

Who it’s for – DieselFlex is suitable for any turbo-charged diesel application up to 15 litres (900 cubic inches) displacement – commercial trucks, field haulers, municipal fleets such as snowploughs or waste management trucks, truck-mounted power supplies, stationary industrial or field units, heavier farm machinery, and personal vehicles down to 1-ton pickups. DieselFlex is available with a range of CNG/propane tank sizes to meet your specific needs.

Safe and reliable – DieselFlex’s features include:

  • Fully computerized, controls entire system and provides advanced diagnostics;
  • Precise metering to optimize combustion, power and fuel economy;
  • Constant real-time corrections adjust to actual gas temperature and pressure;
  • Automatic shut-offs to avoid temperature/pressure spikes, safeguarding your engine;
  • Sensors in key locations, including exhaust gas temperature, to maximize efficiency and safety;
  • High-quality regulator and filter eliminate dirt and debris, ensuring only clean gas enters the inlet air stream; and
  • High-quality injectors offer range of flow rates for various engine sizes.
